A test is always performed according to a certain technical regulation. Often this is an (inter)national standard. When it comes to standardization, we need to distinguish between product standards and test standards. A product standard is a set of specifications that a product must comply with. While a test standard describes the equipment and methodology to perform a certain test.
Becetel is an accredited test lab for a large number of these test standards.
